This Privacy Policy explains how MediGo ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

MediGo is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data you enter into the app remains exclusively on your device.

Data Stored Locally

• Medicine information: Names, dosages, schedules, colors, and photos you add are stored in a local SQLite database on your device.
• Dose logs: Records of when you mark doses as taken or missed are stored locally.
• App preferences: Your theme preference (light/dark) and language selection are stored using SharedPreferences.

Permissions We Use

MediGo requires certain permissions to function properly. These are used exclusively for the intended purpose and not for data collection.

• Notifications: To display medicine reminder alerts.
• Exact Alarm / Schedule Exact Alarm: To schedule and fire reminders at the precise times you set, even when the app is closed or the device is locked.
• Boot Completed: To reschedule your reminders after a device reboot.
• Wake Lock: To ensure the device wakes up to deliver your reminder on time.
• Vibrate: To vibrate the device when a reminder fires.
• Camera / Storage (optional): Only if you choose to take or upload a photo for a medicine. These images are stored locally and are never uploaded.
• Foreground Service: To keep the reminder system alive and working reliably on devices with aggressive battery optimization (e.g., Infinix/XOS).

Third-Party Services

MediGo uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information for the purpose of serving relevant ads. This data is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal data with AdMob or any other third party — no personal data is sent from the app.

No other third-party analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are used.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using your device's built-in screen lock (PIN, password, pattern, or biometric) to protect your data.

Children's Privacy

MediGo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us so that we can investigate and delete such information.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can:

• Delete individual medicine entries or dose logs
• Clear all app data through your device's Settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all associated data
